Central-plant solar array
This 1.2MW DC central plant facility was built as architectural land-art. The installation consists of roughly 400kW of carport-mounted systems, with the balance being installed on multiple independent tables on a 30 degree grade hillside. Medium voltage interconnection offered challenges that we worked through with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. The client choose SunPower solar panels to maximize use of the available space.
