One of the few LEED Gold facilities in Los Angeles, the new University of California outpatient hospital in Santa Monica utilizes a custom flat-mount racking system and SolarOne modules in order to provide a significant portions of the building's load. In this case, the energy from the system powers the first fully-automated parking structure of its kind in the world - swipe your card, and the system collects and parks your car in a subterranean garage.
